American Idol is dwindling down to an almost halt soon. Last week, Allison Iraheta was shown the door, even though her performance was much better than Danny Gokey’s.

On Tuesday night’s show, the judges selected a song for each singer to perform. Afterwards, the guys got to choose their own song.

Danny Gokey was up first and sang Terrence Trent D’Arby’s song, “Dance Little Sister”, as chosen by Paula Abdul, for the crowd.

His voice sounded really strained singing this song. I am not a fan of this version at all.

After Danny’s performance, Kris Allen took the stage to perform One Republic’s “Apologize”, as chosen by Randy Jackson.

This was a nice slow song and it was definitely a good song choice for Kris. I hope to see him in the finale of the show, alongside Adam Lambert.

Speaking of Adam, Simon Cowell chose U2′s song, “One” for him to sing. I’m not a fan of this version of the song at all. I really like U2 and this song is old school. It wasn’t the best song choice for Adam, in my opinion.

After the judge’s choice, the guys were able to sing a song of their own choice.

Danny started off again, singing Joe Cocker’s song, “You Are So Beautiful” and it reeked! This guy needs to go home already. It’s over for Gokey. Vote Gokey off of the island already. He already hosed up Allison’s chances.

Kris then tore up the stage with Kanye West’s song, “Heartless”. I’m not a huge fan of Kanye’s, but the song was good for Kris and he seemed to do pretty well for himself with it. Maybe he’ll make it to the final two because of this song.

And last but not least, Adam sang Aerosmith’s “Cryin’” and he murdered it. Do you think he’s doing that on purpose? I love Aerosmith, but to hear what he did to the song, it should be against the law.

Who do you think’s gonna win?

Hugh Jackman went on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” earlier Wednesday to talk about his Sexiest Man Alive title and how it doesn’t get him out of taking out the garbage. He’s funny.

They also talked about how he sang and danced while hosting the Oscars. The conversation turned to the new “X-Men” movie. He said that when he was promoting the movie on a Spanish talk show, the host kept introducing him as Hugh Grant.

In the second half, they showed a clip of “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” and then the two of them played “the last word”. The first category was cities and Hugh won. The next category was female singers, and Ellen won. She said that the next time he was on they’d do male actors, so he should study up.

So cute!

After Paula Abdul lip-sync’d the crap out of her new song, Kris Allen was put in the safe chair.

In a sucktastic move, as I surely thought Kris Allen or Danny Gokey would be sent packing, Allison Iraheta was sent to the center stage to be a cry baby sing “Cry Baby” one last time.

Rachel Maddow was as excited as a 15-year-old schoolgirl with her guest of the evening, Metallica drummer, Lars Ulrich.

I think I would’ve been excited to meet any of the band members back when they released the “Black Album“, but not so much now. They’ve gone soft, it’s no lie.

What do you think? Are you a diehard fan or do you think they’ve sold out? I feel that they should go back to their “Master Of Puppets” days, when the music was much harder and the band just didn’t give a crap about the press attention.

James has gotten vocal coaching and they’re performing with an orchestra? It just doesn’t seem right to me.

After her appearance on “Britain’s Got Talent“, Susan Boyle really shot to fame. She’s had a little bit of a makeover and people are digging up old videos and performances.

The Youtube star was snapped returning to her home in West Lothian, U.K., and as you can see, the makeover really hasn’t changed her that much. Maybe Simon Cowell told her to tone it down a bit?

He’s already said that he’s sick of all of the tales of her kissing and that nonsense, so I wouldn’t put it passed him.

When Hollie Steel came out in her little ballerina outfit and twirled around the stage for a few, we really didn’t know what to expect from her. Then, she opened her mouth, and like Susan Boyle, shocked us a bit.

She’ll be some good competition for Susan, but do you think she can beat her?

Former “Lost” employee Chelsea Stone is suing actor Henry Ian Cusick for sexual harassment.

Cusick, who plays Desmond Hume on the show, is said to have fondled her butt and breasts, while both were working on the show.

According to the lawsuit, which was filed yesterday, Stone claims that he placed his hand on her buttocks and caressed the back of her body while making moaning sounds. Also, she claimed that Cusick “placed his face on top of her breasts, moving his face from side to side,” afterwards squeezing her breasts with his hands.

The lawsuit states that approximately twelve days after the advances, Stone was fired. She lists ABC and Grass Skirt Productions also named as defendants in the case.

She’s seeking an unspecified amount in damages.

My boy Kenny Powers will be able to utter more expletives for all of us to lap up. The show, “Eastbound & Down” got picked up for another season on HBO!

Congrats to Danny McBride and Co. for making this show so freaking hilarious. Woot. I can’t wait to see it again. Bring it on guys!

Lisa Rinna took to the streets in L.A. yesterday to get people riled up for her to get a role on the newly revamped “Melrose Place“.

Her and Ross Matthews held up signs that read “Honk 4 Lisa Rinna on the new Melrose Place” and “Honk if you love Lisa”.

Think it’ll work? She also had petitions for people to sign. She must be jealous over Ashlee Simpson’s fake self getting a role.

Paris Hilton’s retarded self didn’t lock her doors when she got robbed the other day. But that’s not going to stop her insurance company from dishing the pay out, so we’ve heard.

Two insurance companies have said that even though she didn’t lock her door, it wouldn’t necessarily invalidate her policy.

Must be nice to be so dumb and still get paid.
