Billy Bob Thornton Cancels North American Tour Dates

After having a bit of an on-air scuffle with Canadian radio host, Jian Ghomeshi, Billy Bob Thornton has officially pulled the plug on The Boxmasters‘ remaining North American tour dates.
Canadians didn’t like Billy Bob dissing their DJ, so they booed him when he took the stage to tell his side of the story.
Following that incident, Billy Bob has decided to pull the rug out from underneath the entire North American tour in support of Willie Nelson.
Blame Canada!
No really, I saw the interview and Jian was nothing short of kind and he really took a lot of b.s. from Billy Bob, who loved to go off on a tangent.
A post on Willie Nelson’s official website on Friday reads, “At this time, no reasons have been announced but the remainder of the tour will continue as scheduled without The Boxmasters.”
