Patrick Swayze has just succumbed to pancreatic cancer, which has plagued him since being diagnosed in January 2008.

He passed away with family by his bedside. He was 57-years-old.

We all knew it was coming but it doesn’t make it any easier, does it?

RIP Patrick Swayze (August 18, 1952 – September 14, 2009) You will be missed. Our hearts go out to his family and friends.

Walter Cronkite was an esteemed anchorman for CBS News. He passed away earlier tonight in New York after battling a longtime illness. He was 92-years-old.

His son Chip announced the news as CBS interrupted its programming schedule. He said, “My father Walter Cronkite died.” Afterward, network showed an obituary for the late anchorman.

RIP Walter Cronkite.

Celebrity Death Watch ’09 claims another victim. So sad.

Deathwatch ’09 has claimed another victim, this time, pitchman Billy Mays.

Mays was known for yelling at people to buy his products, such as OxiClean and Orange Glo. His wife found him earlier this morning. There were no signs of a break in and the investigators don’t expect foul play.

An autopsy is expected Monday.

He was 50. RIP Billy Mays.

Update:

Mays had just returned from a flight to Philadelphia where he filmed a new OxiClean commercial. He was on board a plane that had a blown front tire when it landed. He said, “All of a sudden as we hit you know it was just the hardest hit, all the things from the ceiling started dropping. It hit me on the head, but I got a hard head.”

Farrah Fawcett has passed away and the world is a much sadder place.

She had been suffering from anal cancer since 2006.

TMZ reported just recently that there were nothing but grim reports surrounding Farrah’s health. Her official site reported that her family members were saying their last goodbyes and that she was being read her last rites.

It was just related to me, that our Farrah just given last rites. She is not in any pain. For those who believe make contact with god now.

She passed away earlier today at St. John’s Health Center in L.A. May she rest in peace.  She was 62-years-old.

“Thai Rath”, a Thailand tabloid rag was in receipt of what was said to be the hanging photo of David Carradine in his hotel room. The photo was said to be the coroner’s photo, taken by a Thai forensics team, and depicts Carradine hanging from a rope with his hands tied behind his back.

The photo was reportedly leaked to the press by someone inside the Thai police department.

It’s such a shame that I’m reporting David Carradine’s death to you, but it seems to be getting stranger and stranger as the reports keep coming in.

First it was reported that Carradine was found by a maid in a Thai hotel hanging from a cord, naked in a closet. The first reports suggested that he committed suicide, but his manager spoke up and said that it would’ve been very uncharasteristic of Carradine to do so.

Now, we’ve just heard the weird part. Apparently, Carradine was engaged in auto-erotic asphyxiation and botched the attempt, thus, causing his death.

Lieutenant General Worapong Siewpreecha told reporters, “There was a rope tied around his neck and another rope tied to his genital, and the two ropes were tied together and they hung in the closet. Under these circumstances we cannot be sure that he committed suicide.”

Auto-erotic asphyxiation also claimed the life of INXS singer, Michael Hutchence in 1997.

Marina Carradine, David’s former wife, previously claimed that he participated in “deviant sexual behavior which was potentially deadly”. And how right she was.

This is just horrible news. Mike Tyson’s daughter, Exodus, has just passed away earlier today after being found yesterday with a cord from a treadmill wrapped around her neck.

A rep for the Phoenix, Arizona Police Department has released this statement:

I was just advised by investigators that Exodus Tyson was pronounced deceased at 11:45 AM today at the hospital. Our sympathies go out to the family.

This is awful. She was only four-years-old.

Dom DeLuise was quite the comedian, and he’ll be missed.

He starred in movies “The Cannonball Run”, “Blazing Saddles”, and also voiced the part of Pizza The Hutt in “Spaceballs”.

He passed away in his sleep last night at around 6 p.m. at the age of 75-years-old.

Wikipedia reports:

He was hospitalized at a Los Angeles hospital at the time, due to kidney failure and respiratory problems.

May he rest in peace.

It was widely publicized when David Cook was on “American Idol” that his brother Adam was suffering from brain cancer.

Adam Cook has lost his battle with brain cancer and passed away at around 1 a.m. last night at a hospice in Terre Haute, Indiana.

A source says, “He took a turn for the worse this weekend and David rushed to get home. He was surrounded by his family, including his wife Kendra, his children, his father and his step-mom, among others.”

A family friend says, “Adam passed away peacefully.”

David announced the passing of his brother at today’s Race For Hope:

I’m not sure why Jack Tweed wants to continue this media frenzy that Jade Goody put herself in, but he wants to open up a restaurant in her honor. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but can’t he let her rest in peace? It seems like her corpse is barely warm and he already wants to profit even further.

Tweed’s friends said that he wants television cameras there to film the restaurant starting up. The restaurant will feature “international cuisine”, which was Jade’s favorite.

A source says, “Jack has got a great entrepreneurial spirit. They have ruled out London. They want a high-class, trendy place in Essex. They haven’t decided on the name but Jack wants it to be something to do with Jade.”

I can imagine that it’s tough to be in his shoes, one day he has a family and the next day, he has nothing. It’s got to be hard on him. Maybe that’s what Jade would have wanted?

I’m sad to report that Jade Goody has passed away earlier this morning at 3:14 a.m. She was at home with her mother, Jackiey Budden in Essex when she left us.

Her mother said, “My beautiful daughter is at peace. Family and friends would like privacy at last.”

Her publicist, Max Clifford, said, “I think she’s going to be remembered as a young girl who has, and who will, save an awful lot of lives. She was a very, very brave girl. And she faced her death in the way she faced her whole life – full on, with a lot of courage.”

He reitered Jackiey’s statement that the family wished to be left alone to grieve. I agree, she put her last moments out there so that her sons could have a nice future, leave her family alone. It’s all been so public lately.

The Medical Examiner in New York who did the autopsy on Natasha Richardson has revealed the results of what they’ve found.

They have concluded that Richardson passed away from a blunt impact to her head and her death was ruled an accident.

The cause of death is listed as “epidural hematoma due to blunt impact to the head”, according to the ME’s office’s spokesperson.

She had turned away the thought of an ambulance after it first happened and was said to be joking about the incident. Later on that day, she got a headache and was taken to the hospital. And we all know the outcome from there, as sad as it is.

TMZ took pictures of her husband, Liam Neeson, on his way home. What idiocy. They need to leave him alone and let the man grieve in peace already. It’s such a shame that this happened in the first place, but they’re really adding insult to injury there.

This is such a sad story because Jade Goody is dying of cervical cancer and is leaving behind two very young sons and a husband. So so so so sad.

I feel for her and her family. Her spokesman said that she’s very weak, sedated, in a coma-like state, and it’s only “a matter of when”.

Her spokesman, Max Clifford, says, “She was hoping to be well enough to see the boys but at the moment she is in a very bad state, she is very unwell.”

He adds, “She is unconscious a lot of the time, almost in a coma-like state. She’s heavily sedated, so she comes round for maybe a few minutes, sometimes just a few seconds and she goes again. She seems to be aware that Jack and [her mother] Jackiey are here. It’s just a matter of when.”

So sad. I’m praying for her and her family.

Howard K. Stern has been busted for funneling drugs to deceased Playmate Anna Nicole Smith, two years after her passing. He, along with doctors Sandeep Kapoor and Khristine Eroshevich are being charged with a total of eight felonies.

According to California Attorney General Jerry Brown, Stern was the “principle enabler” in providing Anna Nicole thousands of prescription pills that ultimately led to her untimely death.

Brown said that Stern along with both doctors conspired in “prescribing drugs excessively to a known addict and using false and fictitious names all in violation of the law and all in furtherance of a conspiracy.”

He added in today’s press conference, “There’s a lot of money floating around.”

You’re darn skippy there is. If DannieLynn inherits her share of Anna Nicole’s estate, then Stern, as her executor stands to benefit, to the tune of $50 million.

Heath Ledger is in the March 2009 issue of “Entertainment Weekly“, where the director of his final film, Terry Gilliam talked about the movie. “The Imaginarium Of Dr. Parnassus” stars Heath as the main character, Tony.

Near the end of the movie, Heath overdosed on prescription medications. Three actors, Johnny Depp, Jude Law, and Colin Farrell all stepped in to aid in the role. They’ve donated their salaries from the movie to Heath’s daughter, Matilda.

I can’t wait to see this movie. It’s going to be a good one. I wonder if this one is Oscar-worthy, as well.
