Apparently someone reported that there were gunshots at the mansion, causing the LAPD to make a visit to the home of Hugh Hefner and his girlfriends.

Hef was enjoying his weekly game of backgammon with his son, Marston, when police approached the gates to the mansion. Officers on scene did not find any evidence of gunfire and it turned out to be a false alarm.
