Miley Cyrus recently got a tattoo reminding her to “just breathe” so it’s understandable why Hilary Duff chose to tattoo “shine” on her hand: It’s because they’re both dumb.

She said, “It’s just for me to look at and remember. I feel like it’s easy to lose your shine, to lose that special thing about yourself. When you get busy or you get tired and you feel like everything is fake or the world is against you, it’s important to keep your character and to let your light shine.”

To the Duffster’s credit, though, at least the tattoo is not under her boob.
