Newly minted Dancing With The Stars competitor David Arquette talked to Ellen DeGeneres about his sobriety and the dissolution of his marriage to estranged wife, Courteney Cox.

The former couple decided to go their separate ways in October 2010, and he said that the heartbreak made him drink more and think about committing suicide.

He said, “We had grown apart for quite a while and I was just really heartbroken over it. I used it as an excuse to accelerate my drinking. You know, to be honest, I didn’t want to live anymore.”

He went on to reveal, “I didn’t know how to deal with these feelings. And part of getting sober, it’s really difficult at the beginning. You are confronted with all of these new emotions. You know, you’re not good enough.”

Thankfully, David was able to move on and is doing much better. He’s been keeping himself occupied with his new role on DWTS. He said, “I’m exhausted. I’ve been dancing for like five hours a day. It’s amazing. Every bone aches. I’m started to get a little situation. I did it because I love dancing. A lot of the themes that are involved with dancing are involved with sort of my way of life now. Balance, staying connected to your core, being in touch with everything around you, the flow of life.”

He revealed, “And that’s what it’s sort of about for me. It also gave me an opportunity for people to get to know me. Because they may have preconceived notions of who I am. Just to be out there and have fun and entertain people because I’m an entertainer.”

Kris Allen performed Kanye West’s song, “Heartless” on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show”, which is set to air on Tuesday.

Hugh Jackman went on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” earlier Wednesday to talk about his Sexiest Man Alive title and how it doesn’t get him out of taking out the garbage. He’s funny.

They also talked about how he sang and danced while hosting the Oscars. The conversation turned to the new “X-Men” movie. He said that when he was promoting the movie on a Spanish talk show, the host kept introducing him as Hugh Grant.

In the second half, they showed a clip of “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” and then the two of them played “the last word”. The first category was cities and Hugh won. The next category was female singers, and Ellen won. She said that the next time he was on they’d do male actors, so he should study up.

While I didn’t think it was possible for Sean “Diddy” Combs to come off as any more of a jerk than he has in the past, he spills this douchebaggery.

He said that he lent his Miami house to Chris Brown and Rihanna so that he could “be there for them as a friend in dark times” and that he wanted to be there in support of them.

Good on Ellen, though. Eff this idiot. Relationships get ugly? Sure they do, but the result doesn’t look like Rihanna getting the beat down of her life.
