His royal hotness, King Firth AKA Mark Darcy and/or the King, Colin Firth obviously has his choice of roles since winning his Oscar for The King’s Speech! Now, we’re hearing reports that he’s set to take on the role of a vampire! Unf.

Reportedly, Colin has signed on to play a vampire in the new movie, Stoker, along with Nicole Kidman and Mia Wasikowska. According to sources, the movie is a nod to Bram Stoker’s Dracula. But why have Nicole Kidman in it?!?? She’s freakin’ box office poison, for crying out loud!!

The screenwriter for the movie, Wentworth Miller, said, “It’s got a lot of elements of the Dracula mythology in its story. It’s not a vampire story. It’s not about vampires at least with the teeth and the desire to suck your blood, but it is a thriller and it is about an individual who preys on the innocent.”

With that said, Colin Firth can prey on us anytime he wants.

Now that Colin Firth has bagged himself some SAG Awards for his role in new movie, The King’s Speech, it will be a shoe-in for some Oscar wins!

I actually just saw the movie and Colin was phenomenal in it. I really loved it, but I’m biased — I’ve always been a huge fan of Colin’s work since he played Mr. Darcy in Pride & Prejudice.

And holy hotness, Batman. Does he look GOOD dressed up in the king’s uniform! UNF.

Viggo Mortensen and Colin Firth were seen going into The Ivy looking pretty dapper. Dang, I thought Viggo was looking more homeless and rugged lately, but he cleans up so nicely.
