Is Anyone Really Reading Perez Hilton’s Book, Red Carpet Suicide?

After checking out Perez Hilton for a quick minute and plowing through a few comments, I’ve noticed that between the post and the comments section, he’s pimping out his book. Yes, Mario wrote a book, oh yay.
The book, “Red Carpet Suicide“, is available on Amazon.com and other sites, I’m sure.

So you would think that his readers are sick of the ads? That wasn’t the only comment bashing Perez, either. It surely wasn’t the nastiest comment we could find, either.
The book has gotten a decent review from a celebrity-centric reader on Amazon, but besides that, I’ve heard it was just a waste of money. Has anyone read the book yet?
Charles Barkley’s Mug Shot & Arrest

Charles Barkley is the latest celebrity to get arrested for suspicion of DUI, before the New Year’s Eve festivities kick off tonight.
Barkley was spotted by Scottsdale police at around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday morning after running a stop sign. Barkley opted not to submit to a breathalyzer test, but was later given a blood test. The results aren’t in as of yet.
Barkley was processed and released in a taxi.

Dane Cook’s brother Darryl McCauley has been arrested for allegedly stealing millions of dollars from him. Nice way of keeping it in the family. Douchebaggery like that needs to be rewarded with a swift kick in the butt.
Dane left his brother in charge of his affairs since the 1990′s, but was clipped today by the Massachusetts State Police and charged with three counts of larceny and forgery.
Apparently, dude tried to deposit a check into his account for $3 million. Like no one would know that was missing, right?

It was said that she flew over to India where he was and spent the holiday with him.
Britney’s people have weighed in and say, “Britney is not in India.” Another source at the Britney camp calls the rumors a “total fabrication.”
And there you have it. Besides, the minute Britney’s feet touch ground at LAX, it’s like an alarm is set off with the paparazzi and they’re there photographing her left and right.
Nick Jonas Wants To Get Married

Nick Jonas says that one day he wants to marry the perfect girl. He already wears a purity ring to signify his virginity before marriage rule and was rumored to be dating Selena Gomez. I hope those two are dating, I never did like his ex-girlfriend, Miley Cyrus. She’s a brat and Selena seems like she’s so much nicer.
Nick says, “Marriage is something that’s going to happen. Music is important, but family is most important. When Joe and I lie in our bed and we can’t fall asleep because of all the time changes, that’s the kind of thing we talk about.
I’d say good luck if you’re looking for a virgin to get jiggy with. But that’s probably why he dumped Miley.

Britney Spears wants to get rid of one bad habit for the New Year, but says that she has trouble in keeping her resolutions.
She says that she wants to quit biting her fingernails and wishes that she could stop worrying.
She says, “Next year, I have to learn to stop biting my nails! I would like to stop worrying so much, because I worry all the time. And to learn how to be happier, just in general. I have to learn to take things not so seriously.”
Of her New Year’s resolutions, she says, “I end up breaking them. It’s hard.”
Let’s hope she does one thing in 2009: Leave the crazy back in ’08!

I’m not sure how much of this rumor I actually believe. Sources are now saying that Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony will be making a performance on Valentine’s Day, then will announce their split shortly thereafter.
I believe the performance part, just not the split details. Not just yet, anyways. I know that when it was rumored in the beginning that Madonna and Guy Ritchie were calling it quits, everyone, including Madge’s rep said the news was bunk. So, of course, in this case, too, we may never know the truth until it happens.
